"We're here for the bears," I reminded him. "Besides, the traditional lawn is not part of any environmentally sustainable ecosystem.
It requires a disproportionately large water supply and the regular addition of chemical fertilizers, herbicides,
and insecticides to maintain, which inevitably leach into the water table, poisoning it.
The world will be a far better place when the absolute eradication of the traditional lawn has been achieved."
"Do you know why he says that?" Lynn asked.
"It's because he doesn't like to mow the lawn."
