Princess Edie L'Beady, or the Lady of the Truffles as she was better known, championed
a strict moral crusade throughout the families of royalty.
She met with ruin when it was discovered she was carrying on not only with the chief horse groomsmen
but the son-in-law of her brother as well. Upon being denounced in court, she cried, "Alas, I am undone,"
and killed herself with a high building.
