Some brides hint at an untimely and acrimonious end to a marriage even before the courtship has begun. Common sense tells us these brides should be avoided at all costs. That so many men refuse to yield to their common sense is a matter of no small perplexity. Perhaps it is the hue of these brides' tan hides. Perhaps it is the way they point their pointed fingers or collapse in a heap on the side of a log. Clearly I don't know the reason for men's weaknesses. But I do know that there is no shortage of misery in this world and marriage accounts for a fair portion of it.
