At the top, Poison Pie and I contemplated nothing.
Poison Pie says that nothing is like strawberry and rhubarb pie. It's the sweetness of
strawberries and the tartness of rhubarb that makes it so perfect.
I said that nothing can't be like a pie since sweetness isn't nothing and rhubarb certainly is something,
not nothing. No sooner had the words left my mouth than Poison Pie grimaced and told me I had an
unnecessary predilection for conventional thinking. He did not mean it as a compliment.
